yo man it's 611 North Avenue NW Atlanta, GA 30318

yeah i've seen a bunch of fuckin' awesome shows there! like I told colton, mostly underground shit, but it's one of my favorite venues in the city! they get a bunch of criticism because they only have one PA (so kinda shitty sound) but the promoter for this show rented multiple PA's just for this occasion. the sound was FANTASTIC. but now I've learned (I didn't notice at the show, to be honest) there were no leads! so no solos or anything...but hey, I still had a blast!

Nice, thanks! I've got a google page up for it already. The sound won't hinder me too much, I've been up to Swayze's and The Seven a lot these days, so I'm used to crappy PAs.

also...for some reason I thought it was general consensus that Obituary kinda sucked.
I think I am the only one that thinks that. I actually do like their old stuff, but I found them to be extremely boring live. Easily one of the most boring live bands I've ever seen.

You sure the Celtic Frost cover wasn't "Circle of Tyrants"?
Still a band I want to see before I die >__<

Nah, that'd be cool but Dethroned Emperor has been a staple of their set since the Left to Die EP was released.

Definitely go when you get the chance, they're fantastic live.

they have always been good when i've seen them live. How can you NOT like Cause of Death and Slowly We Rot? I can take it or leave it with any of their newer stuff.. it's not bad.. just those two initial releases were pummeling deathmetal for the time.

I mean, they weren't laughing in the sense "haha, that's a funny story," but "haha, you're a fucking idiot, I'm gonna laugh at you."

@InFlames: You should try to catch Mutilation Rites (fantastic black metal band from NYC) there on December 9. I'll be at school, so no go for me, but I'll be seeing Heartless and Full of Hell there on the 17th of that month. They are crusty hardcore/grindcore bands on Southern Lord.
