I'm probably wrong, and I'll happily eat crow if I am, but I can't see Ozzfest being a contender this coming year. Mayhem, Uproar, Summer Slaughter. There's becoming too many one day touring festivals going on, and people will have to pick and choose.

If Ozzfest does happen, they have to have the best damn Lineup they've ever had to not lose money this time around, all things considered.

Do I want it to happen, only if Somerset, Wisconsin gets their head out of their asses and allows rock shows to happen at Float-Rite park again. It'd be the only way I'd get to see it, But honestly. I think Sabbath would make a lot more money and have more fans if they do a Spring or Fall US headlining tour with a few openers.

Not sure what will happen. I think we will see Ozzfest 2012. I am not sure if there will be more than a few dates, but Ozzfest makes alot of $ due sponsorships. Not to mention bands playing 75 grand per slot on the 2nd stage.

We only have a little over a month for that to happen, they better get their asses in gear!

That does make sense about the sponsorships, but the right sponsors are going to have to choose as well when it comes down to it when all the summer festivals start getting formed.

If Ozzfest gets Sabbath & SoaD it will have surpassed the Slipknot/Korn/Mayhem Fest as far as marketability and hitting more diverse demographics.

I would happily see Black Sabbath and SOAD over Slipknot and Korn The problem being, people my age and younger...don't.

Again I'll happily eat crow if I'm wrong about all of this because I want Ozzfest to come back (as long as the lineup is worth having) I just know there are a lot of kids who only want Mayhem festival to be br00talz and don't actually care about the music/bands being played.

I just hope people will wise up and will let Ozzfest be big again....if it all happens of course.

That would be cool to have Ozzfest next summer. I think if there would be a great turnout if they can get Slayer, Tool and Rob Zombie to play it. Maybe have Cannibal Corpse or Exodus headline second stage.

Me too. Hopefully Ozzfest will return.

An Ozzfest with Sabbath/Priest headlining would be amazing.

I think that most people your age and younger either realize that SOAD is equally as useless as Slipknot or Korn, or they don't
