Mayhem -- Chicago, IL -- November 13th, 2011

Mayhem played the same set list they have been playing. Great setlist. A nice mix from the best of the past with a couple of newer songs. Attila has a great look and Hellhammer is a beast on drums. Got to do the meet and greet and talked Hellhammer into getting me a drumstick and signing it. I will definitely frame that stick with some pictures from tonight.

Funeral Fog and View from Nihil were the highlights for me.

Opening bands were solid. Enjoyed Hate and Keep of Kalessin.

Might have to go see this in Louisville on December 9th. It's a Friday, and those pictures are too awesome for me to not witness in person. Plus,

Sadly no Mayhem posters for sale. I agree that Mayhem back drop was killer and I would have loved to have them sell it or provide it to be signed for the meet and greet.

Compare that to what we got for the meet and greet for them to sign and it's a sad comparison. See below for the poster they signed and Hellhammer's signed drumstick. I'm not complaining overall it was amazing but having that backdrop on a poster signed would've been a dream come true when combined with meeting the band and having Hellhammer give me one of his signed sticks.
