Yeah, I know. I'm not a fan of that kind of stuff. If you don't like a band, just say you didn't like them. Don't need to preach. But that's just my opinion.

you can not like DEP, but you can't deny their talent, particularly the drumming/ rhythm changes etc. I am also not sure how you can't appreciate their live show, as i have brought people who HATE metal early to shows just see them bc they are so entertaining on stage and you never know what might happen (Greg shitting on stage at Reading comes to mind).

Look at the list of musicians that have worked with members of DEP through the years. Most of the time a band is highly regarded by other highly regarded musicians, there's a good reason. There's a reason you don't see real artists beating down FFDP's door.

So I'm guessing DEP was basically like Converge when they played with Dethklok and Mastodon 2 years ago... not very good unless you really like hardcore like that. Well anyway, good to hear Mastodon has been sounding better since a couple years ago. Sucks I couldn't make it but I've Mastodon 3 times now.
