RAGE

Not sure I've ever seen a game people totally love or love to hate like Rage. I really liked it and would recommend it as a purchase. In most games I'm not a fan of the shotgun usually but Rage has the best shotgun I've ever used and the Pop Rockets are one of the coolest forms of ammo out there.

It had just enough scavenging/side quests to keep me interested and the driving was really responsive and fun also. The gadgets and engineering really made things interesting also.

I was shocked when it was 3 discs but after seeing it and how well it looks and responds I was cool with it. I heard the re-sale value isn't that high so if you can get it on ebay for $25-$30 I'd snag it. Pretty sure there is some serious DLC coming for it.

3 discs?

I thought that was a thing of the past!

So did I. I read that it's the 1st xbox game to run at 60 fps which is double the speed of other games. Not sure if that's true but the graphics are spectacular. Once I finish Arkham City I'm going to play it again on Nighmare level. I'm pissed I missed a few hidden things but I'm thinking I didn't send the RC cars into enough areas.

I'm curious how fast I can beat it since I can skip all the side missions, mini-games and races this time through. There is a BASH tv level (Smash tv) that I'll still play to get a bunch of cash though. I'll never get tired of that level.

Just rented it and started it and it seems fun but Battlefield 3 keeps calling me back.

Yeah I did the Toys R' Us buy 2 get 1 free deal when Arkham City came out. I grabbed Rage and Gears 3 so basically got Arkham City and the classic Batman collectable (going on ebay) free.

I'm proud of myself that I didn't open either Gears or Arkham City before finishing Rage. I will say Rage is addicting the deeper you get into Wellspring.

I fully expected to be putting Rage on ebay by now but it impressed me so much I want to beat it again. Of course I say that now but I want to rent Darkness II and Goldeneye and purchase MW3 and Battlefield so who knows. So many good games, so little time... hahahaha

Damn that sucks! I rented that game only because it was a FPS (I was having FPS withdraw at the time) and loved it.
