Axl usually comes on late,he likes to make people wait.My uncle saw them a few years ago and he said GNR didn't come on until after 12:30!
I also read in an interview a few years ago that Axl had this response to why he comes on late.
"Lennon and McCartney made people wait too" Or some shit like that. What an asshole.

This. You'll get another chance to see Axl kill whatever decency G N' R songs have, go see Priest while you can.

The venue they are playing at for Chicago holds 18,500 for concerts. I'm taking a guess and saying that it'll be about half full.

I just read that Axl is, "battling bronchitis." I don't see this tour going much further.

All I have to say is that both Axl and the whole band were flawless.

Well the Danzig show was packed on the floor.
upstairs reserved seemed pretty sold (more $$)

He played Hammerstein ballroom, which is across the street from MSG.
Maiden played Dance of death tour there 3 nights, (4th was infamously cancelled due to double booking!) And last time i was there was Black Label/Children of Bodom several months ago. I guess it holds 3000?

I saw most of COC, was a little boring for me. They were never my thing.
Looking fwd to the LA setlist tomm.

RE: G-n-R at IZOD, NJ, i was just texting my friend that with 800+ tickets on stubhub for an already badly sold concert,
his best option is to cancel the tour and rebook smaller places early next year. He's looking at a financial disaster.
Trust me that 11:30 start thing won't fly up here...

want a good laugh, look at the list of gnr shows on stubhub, and see how many tix there are, that are NOT gonna sell above face value... dallas tix being dumped for $23!! its pathetic

Yeah,my uncle said it was one of the best shows he had ever seen.Just wanted to add something positive since most of the talk is negative about GNR.

Blabbermouth just did a interview with the keyboardist and when asked when they like to come on insanely late he said something along the lines of "isn't that what rockstars are suppose to do".
