Queensryche -- New York, NY -- October 31st, 2011

What an amazing, special night to see this band. I did not originally plan on attending this until news broke last week that 'Rage For Order' would be performed in it's entirety. I knew at that moment that this could not be missed. The band was super tight and Geoff sounded great on the mic. I hope that they do this again so more people get to experience these rarely played songs.

1. Get Started
2. Damaged
3. I Don't Believe In Love
4. Hit The Black
5. I'm American
6. My Empty Room
7. Neue Regel
8. The Whisper
9. I Dream In Infrared
10. Gonna Get Close To You
11. Surgical Strike
12. London
13. Chemical Youth (We Are Rebellion)
14. I Will Remember
15. The Killing Words
16. Screaming In Digital
17. Walk In The Shadows

ENCORE
18. Jet City Woman
19. Empire
20. Eyes Of A Stranger
21. Anarchy X

Silly Queensryche, that's not how the album goes.

I considered a spur-of-the-moment expedition to see this, but in the end I did the math and it just wasn't worth it. I've seen 6/11 of Rage For Order live (and one of the songs I haven't seen is Gonna Get Close to You, which I'd almost prefer to keep it that way).

Its certainly cool but probably too many years too late.
Their heart is obviously NOT in this material anymore, and hasn't been for years. To do it now is yet another attempt at getting a Blabbermouth headline for them.

How soon people forget that less than a year ago, they were doing burlesque shows to their music.........

They're playing a hour from me tomorrow and despite the fact that so few bands that I like come to Louisiana, I won't go because of the set. It's not worth the drive or money. If they were playing this, hell yeah.

I totally agree. Pretty stupid IMO. I saw them twice in 2009 on the AS tour and saw them play 10 of the 11 songs from RFO with the same lineup....and I've seen them do Chemical Youth (the one they missed) at least 2 or 3 times over the last 27+ years. Glad I passed on this...needless to say if DeGarmo was in the band, I would have been there.
