Warbringer -- Toronto, Ontario -- October 23rd, 2011

Alright Warbringer and Lazarus A.D. absolutely destroyed Toronto!!!!! Lots of headbanging, decent pits, and lots of beer!!!!!!

First band up was Diamond Plate. They were pretty rad actually. Never heard of them before, but they had so good thrash riffs going and the crowd seemed to be digging them. I'd definitely see them again.

Second band was I don't know and I don't care. For what my friend told me, they were shit. Wasn't inside watching them at all.

Third band was Lazarus A.D. They killed it. They had tons of energy and the crowd fed off of it. They definitely keep thrash alive and well.

Last band of the night, WARBRINGER!!!!!!!!!! They fucking slayed!!! I was goddamn impressed. Never seen so much headbanging going on in such a small venue in my life. They, again, had so much energy and interacted with the crowd really well. Can't wait for them to come back again!!!

speaking of beautiful women singers of grind bands rapping, I saw Skarp a few years ago and there was an equipment malfunction, so the drummer and bassist started jamming and the singer was rapping some Vanilla Ice for a few minutes

When I saw the sheer number of concerts coming through in October, I knew that if I could only go to one, it would have to be Warbringer. And then inertia pulls this 19+ bs that they seem to love doing for EVERY good concert these days.

Unfortunately I couldn't get down to Buffalo on Saturday, so I guess I'll be waiting until next time. Sounds like it was a good show though, and as usual, a good setlist.
