Kenny Wayne Shepherd -- Cranston, RI -- October 23rd, 2011
Source: Setlist I got from the stage.
What an amazing performance! Chris "Whipper" Layton on drums from Stevie Ray Vaughan's band was an unexpected surprise for me! Even more unexpected was winning a trip backstage for a meet and greet with Kenny Wayne and his singer, Noah Hunt! All in all... a great night! Setlist: 1. Never Lookin' Back 2. Somehow 3. Butterfly 4. Come On Over 5. Yer Blues (Beatles song) 6. Show Me The Way 7. Deja Voodoo 8. Come On (Stevie Ray Vaughan song) 9. Shame 10. Kings Highway 11. True Lies 12. Aberdeen 13. Backwater Blues 14. While We Cry -ENCORE- 15. Blue On Black 16. King Bee 17. Oh Well (Fleetwood Mac song) 18. Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) (Jimi Hendrix song)

I love Kenny Wayne Shepard. The best Blues musician still live, in my humble opinion.
Awesome setlist!

God, that would be sick to see. I had a jam band in high school and we could play this song for like, 20 minutes at a time. It was aaaaawesome.

My favorite blues musician, saw him play back in 1998 after Blue on Black came out. Also saw him play on the Experience Hendrix tour earlier this year and his performance of Voodoo Chile was ridiculous.

There would be NO metal if the blues had not come first!
