I've always been a PC guy. However, I have to give credit that Apple certainly has made some good contributions to technology. Jobs came up for some great ideas and was a excellent business man. RIP

I've always hated Mac computers, thought them backwards, inefficient, and overpriced... but I've always loved the fuck outta my iPods and iPhones, no matter how much they break on me.

Speaking as a part time home producer, the technology that Apple spearheaded in terms of multimedia creation and editing is unrivaled. I use a Windows laptop at home with Reaper recording software and a Pod 2.0 for my recording, with a few bells and whistles, but I do most of my editing and mastering on my sisters iMac, which comes built in with a basic version of Pro-Tools.
I like iTunes, but I LOVE my iPod, never leave home without it, and genuinely, it hasn't failed me or anyone else I know who owns one anymore than any other brand of portable player.
