Well, if there was a fine it really doesn't make much sense since the arena is located downtown. There are no residential areas near by and even if there were you probably couldn't hear much if anything at all outside of the arena.

But since you said the arena is located downtown, it's probably more likely to be a union issue. I know both Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York City have strict 11pm curfews due to unions.

[quote=Sanitarium78;399800]If I was the venue I would have them back again because not only would you get money from the ticket sales but you can make a bunch off the fine if they play over again. From a monetary stand point it just seems stupid to not have them back.
Not necessarily.... Pick up a copy of "The Ticket Masters" by Dean Budnick. I'm reading that now, and it's an eye-opener! In some cases the venues LOSE money on ticket sales - for example, Jimmy Buffett gets 125% (NOT a typo!) of the gate receipts! And that, my friends, is why we are forced to buy $9.50 Bud Lights and a $13.00 hot dog! As one venue owner put it "We are not in the entertainment business any more. We are running a very expensive deli."

Holy shit! Krist Novoselic on accordion for Skin And Bones?! I'd pay a ticket just to see that alone! But they should have played "I Should Have Known" live with him. That is such a great song that they've rarely played. As far as I know the only times they play that song live is when they do Wasting Light in it's entirety live. Now for my main complaint, no Wisconsin dates on their tour! That sucks, I love the Foo Fighters and although they did come to Chicago it wasn't on their own but to festival Lollapalooza which charges $90 per ticket per day.

It's not worth paying for a ticket just to see that. He comes out and plays the accordian for the song then leaves. Very uneventful. Except for the crowds reaction when Dave introduced him it wasn't anything special. Of course if I was a Nirvana fan I might think differently about it.
