Deliverance seems to be overlooked by a lot of Opeth fans in comparison to some of their work, but it's actually my favorite Opeth album.

A close third for me, behind Blackwater and Ghost Reveries. I don't think it conveys the range of emotions as well as those two, but Deliverance is still incredible. And the title track is probably my favorite song of all time.

Deliverance was my first album I bought with Growls (The same day I bought Dream Theater's Train Of Thought, forever making me a Prog fan). Deliverance is one of my top 3 albums along with Damnation and Blackwater Park.
