I am too. And I guess games are like bands... if they change too much people lose interest. But I'm not like that with bands either, so if it changes and it's still awesome but in a new way, fine. If it changes into something that sucks (hello Queensryche), then that's different. RE went from one kind of awesome to a different kind of awesome

Yeah I don't play RPG's (last one was Eternal Darkness on the cube if that counts) but this is a RPG meets Grand Theft Auto meets Left for Dead. Definitely not a mindless slasher. You really need to spend you money properly and scavenge then trade/sell. You even need to be intelligent about picking your fights. I'm only on Level 15 but if you blindly run into a horde you'll get destroyed in no time.

I think I'm going to keep it a few more days then take it back and see how much I miss it. I'm guessing it's going to take a long while to beat since the missions I'm doing now require covering huge distances and I'm maybe 25% through the game?

I was about level 15, and I joined some dude's game who was level 50... zombies were amped up to his level. I got TORE THE FUCK UP.

I was a level 40 when I took the game back. Only rented it for 2 days and beat the game in coop. Alot of fun but after starting the new game + it just seems boring. Worth the play though as the first time around it is amazing. Must play in coop though as later on in the game it gets overly hard by yourself.

Yeah I'm thinking not playing coop is going to cost me. Missions where you have to escort people Single Player are BRUTAL! I just hit Level 25 and maybe it's because I haven't played a RPG in years but I love the tough decisions on how to spend the money and use the power ups. I have a few more achievements I want to get before I take it back. Will probably try coop just to check it out.

It's just really once you hit the city its just insane. Trying to go around you are always just ambushed by zombies that are stronger than you and they never stop coming!

With Gears out now and Modern Warfare coming in November... I may not be picking this up again for a while.
