I've seen them live, and they all wore ball shorts and had shitty gauges. One of them kept playing with his hair, between songs, and even during songs.

Yeah, it's obvious that PD are a hardcore-inspired metalcore band. One of the first waves of metalcore, too, back when it had a good name. You'll go to shows and see Winston wearing 50 Lions or Trapped Under Ice shirts. Very far from "scene", which is pretty dead nowadays anyway compared to the myspace years.

The big new thing is pseudo-hardcore (aka "IKEACORE") hardcore kids, a la Defeater, Have Heart, Touche Amore, etc. Which is actually good music in my opinion, so I'm fine.
