Chevelle -- Baltimore, MD -- September 8th, 2011
This was the free show for the Ravens Kickoff Party. I didn't mind Egypt Central but the other openers sucked donkey dongs. EC actually re-recorded Kick Ass as Kick-Off for the intro to Ravens games so they get props for that also. We parked in the Rams Head parking lot and had I known Skeletonwitch & Devildriver were playing Rams Head I would have watched them then Chevelle while still having a chance to mingle with the Cheerleaders and local celebrities. Overall it was a great time even though it rained it's ass off but next time I'll plan it out better and get the most metal for my buck. Also this is by far the hottest group of cheerleaders the Ravens has ever had so that was another positive. I love that they do this every year. Being able to watch football and hear good music at the same time is so damn cool. Source: setlist fm since I was too drunk to remember everything they played. hahaha
1. Sleep Apnea 2. Jars 3. Antisaint ![]() 4. Letter From a Thief 5. Get Some 6. Well Enough Alone 7. Face to the Floor 8. Family System 9. Vitamin R (Leading Us Along) 10. Send the Pain Below 11. An Evening With El Diablo ![]() 12. Comfortable Liar 13. The Red 14. Still Running ![]() 15. The Clincher Encore: 16. I Get It Almost the perfect Chevelle setlist. I've seen these guys 4 or 5 times and this is by far the best setlist they've played. They sounded great considering it was an outside show between buildings and had the crowd going nuts.

that setlist is def. good, but i am and will always be a fan of the their first record, so if they threw Point #1 in there (even though they hate it) i would be psyched.

Yeah that was one of most fun times I've ever had watching sports. I would equate it to playing Madden and dropping the computer skill to zero and murdering them. It was exactly like that.
The openers were Egypt Central, Pop Evil and Hinder. For the record Hinder are the most annoying, cliche' band ever created. I honestly pictured myself drop kicking the drummer in the head several times. With his 2 fans blowing his nappy hair all over the place he really is a cartoon. The scarf wearing Buckcherry looking singer, the guyliner spiked hair bassist... I could go on and on about those idiots but it's my own fault I had to suffer through them. It could have been Egypt Central/mingle with Cheerleaders/ Skeletonwitch/Devildriver/run into a shitton of friends / Chevelle then party with Chevelle/EC and PE at Hustler Club afterwards. My bad. I did have fun watching the 90's tribute at Angel's Rock Bar after the show. They did STP, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Bush and that kinda stuff. Definitely a fun scene up there.

Yeah Point #1 and/or Forfeit in place of Well Enough Alone would have made this setlist perfect to me.

I hate Hinder man, they are ok live...but they are so annoying. As far as Pop Evil, they suck but are awesome live.

Yeah I absolutely hate Pop Evil's music but I give them credit for really bringing it live. They went ballistic then did a FUCK THE STEELERS! chant that had the entire place going nuts.

Are you guys fucking kidding me??? Pop Evil is pretty lame on record, but they are BY FAR THE WORST band I have EVER seen live. Until that point, I had honestly thought that ALL live music was good.
I mean...c'mon. Could we really have had that different of an experience?
