Well, I have been considering staying for Avenged Sevenfold's set tonight. And then I realized, I'd have more fun going home and just taking a shit the entire time they're on stage. Ahhhhhh, nice relaxing shit.

You went to Uproar and missed A7X? All the other bands are shit. They were the only ones worth seeing on that tour

The turnout was pretty bad, they didn't even open the lawn. The front few sections were full, but otherwise there were a lot of empty seats. I would estimate the Comcast Center was a little over half full. Easily the least full I've seen a show there.

Going today. Leaving before Avenged. Three Days Grace and Sevendust are really all I want to see. Seether is decent, and I've never seen them, so that should be a bonus third band worth watching. Fuck a7x.

I was saying the same shit a few months ago, then I realized that A7X has some really solid music.

can't say im surprised at the low turnout. these bands cannot carry a tour through large amphitheatres like this, part. in this economy and with so many competing fests. maybe promoter will scale these things back next year.

A7X, 3DG, Sevendust, and BFMV were touring together before Uproar and they were not even filling up Arena's.

A7X used to be able to sell out shows easily, but then they came out with that s/t album and I think people began to lose interest in them. There are some great songs on it, but not like it used to be. I also think the fact that all the kids going to this fest had to go back to school earlier this year than normal caused a big problem for this particular summer tour. They should've booked it a month sooner and lowered the price a bit so that more people would have been able to make it.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. The new albums have sold really well (Nightmare debuted at number 1 on the Bilboard), but it seems less people are at their shows now. I saw them in 2006 with Coheed and Cambria at an arena in Rhode Island and it was sold out.
