Went and braved the hurricane to see KAMELOT at JAXX. Hurricane was a bit overhyped and I'm glad we went to see the show.

Damn, for a support slot, that's a solid Alestorm set. I'm really, REALLY tempted to blow 30 just for them.

Kamelot REALLY needs to get more creative and intelligent with their setlists. More than anything else, that's why I sat out this tour. They have absolutely no idea how to select songs and arrange them within their set so that the show actually flows really well. When I saw them in 2008 the show had an almost embarrassing lack of energy/flow to it. Rule the World is a terrible opener, and March of Mephisto is a terrible closer. Furthermore, they just don't play long enough. 13 or 14 songs in a headlining set for a band with their back catalog is just NOT enough.

Would this be SO hard?

Yes she def was on THE HAUNTING, and did more vocals on another song that I can't quite remember X_X:

The girl from AMARANTHE also did backing vocals/duet vocals

I always wondered why they picked that song to close with, I mean its a good song but I don't think its as great as Karma, etc.

And of course I agree they could play longer :3 especially with 3 solos in there... Hell, if Alice Cooper can still do it live these days, how come these guys can't? I don't know...
