Wake Up is definitely a good song, but I tried not to mention it since it's the big single from this album and there are better songs on it.

JD as much as I love you, the Emmure album only has like.... 3 listenable songs at best. Really, it's too long and it's just bad for the most part.

I really don't expect many people (if any) to like it. I was really surprised at how I liked it. I think you need to be in a certain "mood" to really get it, if that makes any sense. I'm still 100% behind everyone having an open mind, if that's even possible with Emmure, and giving it a chance.

With Emmure's other albums, I would agree that they're too long and bad. But this one has just enough songs to keep me hooked the whole way through. And again, just to reiterate, by no means is it my "favorite" deathcore record, or even a band I really love. It has its positive aspects that I feel well represent a side of deathcore that is important, and can be good when given a chance.

I always hated that song. I thought the album had some good moments, but overall The Cleansing blows it away. Also, the production annoys the living fuck out of me.

I like going back to this post the same way alot of people watch NASCAR or for some people who watch Cops.

I feel alot better for liking alot more of my guilty pleasures now. I was somewhat on board and could take alot of this. Emmure has crossed the line my friend.

An I'd just like to thank you all in advance right now; this list has more comments than Mank's melodeath thread, and it's only a matter of time until it has more views, PROVING without a shadow of a doubt that DEATHCORE is a more legitimate and overall better genre than MELODEATH!

I like the NASCAR comparison. I don't think I'll get anybody here to like Emmure, will I? It was worth a shot. I'd say the worst is out of the way (well... Other than a certain album that you all know is gonna show up).
