Warped Tour -- Chula Vista, CA -- August 9th, 2011

In Chicago Winds Of Plague sound was fine but ADTR was lacking in sound. They kept changing the volume of his mic.

I wish Paramore would have been at the Chicago date though and I agree on TDWP being great live and how he can scream without even trying.

Also I do think The Acacia Strain is mediocre live and I skipped them on Warped to relax and eat and also I refuse to go by them because their fans are the biggest assholes. When I seen them open for Whitechapel all they did was punch when moshing. Going out of their way to hurt people. Also i guess in chicago when they were playing there were tons of fights and the fans beat the shit out of someone so bad he was taken away on by a ambulance.

You were at the Welcome to Hell tour in Chicago earlier this year? Good stuff! It was pretty crazy violent for Acacia. Fun, though.

I wanted to go cause Paramore and Fear played. I wish they played the Pomona date, but oh well. I'll see Paramore one day

This has been a bad year for festivals in my eyes not only was it the worst mayhem fest I went to this year but the warped tour line up was the worst of their long history and I had absolutely no desire to attend. Glad you had fun but these festivals better have a more appealing line up next year. I've been to warped tour these years: 03,04,05,06,07, 08, 10

also, Fear played Warped Tour? As in, super old-school OG punk band Fear? if so, i'm not gonna pretend i know their material or am a fan, but that's pretty damn cool considering the target audience and other dreck that gets booked on this thing.

Paramore is SUCH a great guilty pleasure of mine though haha.

I will agree, this year's lineup for Mayhem was slightly better than last years, but only because the side stages last year were absolutely horrendous. I have yet to go to a Warped Tour mainly because I haven't liked enough of the bands to go.
