According to an interview with MegaDave in Rolling Stone, apparently the album was recorded in two months, which seems ridiculously short. I wonder how they did it...

By including old songs, that's how. Two of the tracks on the album are the previously exclusive-to-Guitar-Hero track 'Sudden Death' and the exclusive title track from the 'Never Dead' computer game.

Suits me, seeing as neither of those songs were released on CD, so I don't have them.

Just like every other Megadeth record?

Normally I would try to come up with my own defense for my opinion, but then I remember that you like Fozzy, and I lol.

And that's fucking lame about "Sudden Death" being on the album. Such a boring song.

This. I don't see any problem with Never Dead being on the album since we never heard the whole thing and the part we did hear has annoying video game dialogue so when the album comes out it will still be a new song.

THIS!

Excited still, I trust them greatly. With Junior back in the band, and him hyping that the new songs sound like "classic" Megadeth, I'm expecting a lot.
