From what I've heard on Youtube, Newt Gingrich seems way more aggressive than anything on Strange Cousins From the West
, while Pig Town Blues is a straight southern blues rock song, but what I heard blew anything off of Strange Cousins out of the water . I think Neil has finally found a way to integrate his old Blast Tyrant roar with the new blues rock sound that Clutch has been going for. He sounds way more intense on these two videos than he did on Robot Hive, Beale Street and especially Strange Cousins. I am so psyched! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T5SF...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c9LNp7mJpw Also, a review of the show on Clutch's message board has The Regular (acoustic) after Basket of Eggs. |

Two of the songs I would have killed to see last week.

The Regulator very well could have been played. If it was that means the taper of the show did not record it.

Couldn't agree more. I'm really digging Pig Town Blues.

Why couldn't we get a setlist like that in Europe? Clutch, please stop playing 50,000 Unstoppable Watts. Every show since the single came out over two years ago is enough already.
Maybe they'll give us something good when they come over and support Thin Lizzy next year... but probably not. I wonder what their set two nights later in Columbus opening for Flogging Molly was like... when DethMaiden stops galavanting around in his studentmobile...
