Down, Danava, and Haarp was a strange bill this past Spring. I know they are all friends but they are all totally different styles. I think Down just likes to tour with people they like and have fun with, at least nowadays.

Wait, wasn't there supposed to be a second Metalliance tour later this year?

Just a thought.

Wouldn't surprise me. Down would fit perfectly on that tour as the headliner.

I hope Haarp would be on this tour as well. I got to see them open when Arson Anthem did a mini tour. I would love to see them again even though I doubt it since they've been opening for them for quite awhile it sounds like.

I would assume Metalliance wouldn't be till next year unless they are doing like a Jagermeister thing where there's a spring and fall tour. I don't know. Anxious to see.

Of course an evening with Down will be just fine too.
ADD would be an awesome opener for Down, but I doubt Hank3 would tour ADD without performing a country set beforehand and that would mess up time slot for ADD. Plus ADD is doing a Sep/Oct tour already. I would like an evening with Down again so we can get the two hour set again

I don't think that was too strange of a bill. Sludge/Stoner/SpaceRock are not too far from each other.

They toured with Danava, Weedeater and the Melvins a few years ago, so that's not much different..

A band that can afford to travel around North America 2 times in 2 months?

Not that it can't happen. I just don't see it happening.

Or they could just stay here the entire two months without going home.
