Mostly, perhaps. I thought Summer Slaughter 2009 wasn't the worst thing ever. Metalliance had its good points and bad points. There have been a few good ones.

There were no hardcore dancers. All just good 'ol moshing, surfing, and crowd participation. And my apologies for my title format. This is my very first post on this site. I'll remember it the next time around.

Glad to know that Megadeth got a good reception. I was watching video from their first show on the tour and it seemed like the crowd couldn't care less about them. It was sad.

Hey man thanks for taking the time to write all that!

I attended the Phoenix Mayhem festival and the sound sucked for pretty much everyone except the main stage acts. It was disappointing but I still had a good time! All Shall Perish's sound was real bad and they were who I wanted to see the most! Still a kickass set though!

Also, did In Flames' lead singer sound bad? I don't know if it was the heat here in Phoenix or if he was sick but it was off! Still a great set too!

While ASP is better than a good amount of the bands on this bill, their live act is so-so. Therefore I understand his rating if he based it off of their live performance
