Yeah, I'm curious to see if the band will have a big creative burst on this album. That's what I'm hoping for at least.

Deluxe box set edition:

- A Dramatic Turn Of Events album
- instrumentals of the entire album
- DVD of The Spirit Carries On – a 60 minute movie documenting Dream Theater’s drummer auditions
- double-LP set of A Dramatic Turn Of Events (180-gram vinyl in gatefold jacket)
- Dream Theater branded custom turntable slipmat
- litho print of album cover
- 50 lucky winners will find a Dream Theater "Ticket For Life" (randomly inserted)
- All content housed in a custom box
- Receive a digital download of the album the day BEFORE release

I don't care about ANY of the things in that box. Unless I can guarantee one of the tickets for life.

Ticket for life? Sounds great, but they haven't played in
my neck of the woods in eleven years.

Do other bands make these? Because I'd buy one of a band I actually like.

I loved the instrumental/track breakdown shit that came with the last album just because it was fun to fuck around with - but it's not worth paying more for. The ticket for life thing would be so awesome, but there's NO way I'm shelling out the kind of cash this will require for basically just the CHANCE at that.

I've seen a few from some underground black metal bands that I want. Other bands do make them but they're not a very common thing. If it's the album art I'll pass but if it's something simple like a white majesty logo on black I'll try and find one on ebay.

I have Spiral Shadow and Static Tension ones from Kylesa and another with the water and fire emblems from Mastodon, all three came in box sets.
