Gigantour in 2012

Dave Mustaine confirmed it will be happening and 3 of the 4 bands have already been booked.

He says they're "guitar playing" bands but not "shredding" bands. I.e. bands who play proper guitar and have solos, but aren't crazy technical. Or something like that.

Given the shafting he gave the UK with Gigantour, I have to say I don't care.

Im just hoping it hits Philly

the first year they did nearby cities like Reading and Atlantic City(which I attended)

and after that the closest we had was an In Flames/Children of Bodom off date during the 2008 run

I'll go if the opening bands are good and Megadeth doesn't play

Well the last time there was supposed to be a Gigantour the rumored bands were Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold.

Hopefully that isn't the case this time.
