Hank3 & Attention Deficit Domination -- Nashville, TN -- July 15th, 2011

The show was at Exit/In - Nashville TN. Hank3 did a country set for 90 minutes or so followed by the ADD set that lasted 63 minutes. I watched the video and matched the songs up to the titles that were released for the ADD record. I am reviewing this show cause I feel like I was there from the video haha and I know there are a few people on here who are interested in the new doom project Hank3 is putting out.... It looks like he covered Sleep then played the entire new ADD record. There is one I'm not sure about but I'm guessing its Make a Fall cause that's the only one left on the record that wasn't obvious. I fucking love the new songs! His voice sounds so haunting at times, especially during Living Beyond Doom. My favorite songs during the show were I Feel Sacrificed and Goats N Heathens. This makes me very excited to hear more. I was worried about this project after hearing Take as Needed for Pain. I really enjoy that song, but the vocal effects kind of ruined it for me. I really really love how his voice is sounding for this. I hope he doesn't mess up the recording with additional effects. I wish I had a program that could take the audio from the video(I can do that easily) and split it up track by track so I can make a bootleg of the show and put on my ipod(thats the part I can't do)

I'm stoked to hear the new ADD material, I love everything Hank III does. His latest album, Hillbilly Joker, is really solid. Did you get the tunes from his first set? You should post them if you did!

I'm planning on looking through youtube videos later on today when I get off work to see if I can find the country set. There are about 14 songs I know he played for sure, but I need to double check them. I'm going to try to make a bootleg out of that live ADD set later today so I can listen to it all the time.

I was there. He is playing again on July 21st for $5.00 per ticket (plus service fees). His country set was solid as usual. A.D.D. sounded like Saint Vitus/Melvins/Sleep hybrid of doom metal. The vocals had an effect on them that made 3 sound like he was a possessed demon!!! Very cool stuff I encourage everyone to check out A.D.D. I think that band is far better than Assjack or Cattle Callin.

How did Rebel Within sound without Gary? Thats fucking awesome you got Candidate for Suicide. According to youtube, it looks like he also played Trooper's Hollar, Musha's, Dying Day, Guttertown. That's weird he didn't play Smoke and Wine or Kicked Out of the Bar.

I think he played kicked out. I was drunk with my old lady just having a good time man, not really paying attention. If I had known this would be on metalsetlists I would have took some notes HAHAHAHA!!! My old lady says he did not play Tn Driver either... my bad.

HAHAHA Thats some funny shit!! I wasn't planning on putting this on here at all. I watched the video and nerded out on it by figuring out what songs were what haha. No biggie if you can't remember the exact songs. In the end, anyone who goes to a III show shouldn't really remember everything if they did it right

That's actually not his new album. That was an album called This Ain't Country that was done for Curb Records, before Straight to Hell, that wasn't able to be released because Curb fucked him over. Without his permission, they released Hillbilly Joker. None of the proceeds go to him, and Curb just did it to piss him off. On his official website and during shows, he encourages people to download it, burn it, and share it as much as you can! HAHA!
