Exactly. I think 75% of suburban white households have the greatest hits of U2, Coldplay's Cold Rush of Blood to the Head, some early '90s Dave Matthews Band, and probably now some Adele. Pleasant, inoffensive music offends me so much more than something that tries something and fails.

Explain your love for Ke$ha and maybe I'll enlighten you in return.

I'll give you two hints:
  1. U2 >>>>>>> Coldplay (even though Coldplay have recorded a few good songs for sure - see also: "Fix You")
  2. It's not always about the songs that people like yourself have heard on the radio in the past couple of years.

Whoa whoa whoa. Leave Adele out of this.

There's a lot more U2 out there than the greatest hits everyone is familiar with. I'm a huge fan of them but even I'll admit that their last three albums have been terrible and their hits are way too overplayed. That's why some people have on this site have been expressing so much satisfaction with the band pulling out some rarer songs this tour.

Unfortunatly, about 85% of the crowd last night were those white suburbanites.

If you get Adele, I definitely get Ke$ha.

Ya if U2 doesnt close with 40, thats a MINUS. Moment Of Surrender is not a very strong closer ill tell ya. The Vertigo tour 4 years before I saw em in 2009 was 100x better then this 360 tour.
