The production reminds me of atr's for we are many last year, like it has the same guitar tone and everything. I know adam produced both, but it surprise me, I thought the guitar tone would sound more like killswitch.
Thanks man.

Yeah I really do like Times Of Grace. I'm not strictly a Metal guy so I love the Post Rock feel it gives off at times.

As crazy of a bastard Adam D is, he is one hell of a producer.

I love his production work. the only album who's production bothers me was the last killswitch album, and he wasn't the sole producer for that one.

I had a problem with everything on the last album. It was essentially a pop Hard Rock album. I know it is because Adam D wasn't the only one writing songs. I think it also had to do with the outside producer.

After giving it a couple spins, I LOVE this album! I still like Novembers Doom more, but Loss is very damn good!

I haven't listened to Novembers Doom, so I won't say which is better between those two. I will say I think this album is a better doom album than SubRosa's, which I didn't think I'd be saying. But we'll see which one sits better over the next few months.

I still gotta check out SubRosa as well. I was recommended them as well. I'll be doing that soon.

It is a hard choice between Loss and SubRosa. SubRosa's grew on me as I listened to it more, and I love that folk vibe they have going on. Their album is just so unorthodox for a doom album, having violins, female vocals, and one track that's a straight up English folk song.

Right now, I think Loss's is better though, even though it's more traditional-type doom.

I really liked it at first, I thought it was a different angle, not just the same old thing, but then found myself never really listening to most of it after the first couple weeks.
