The songs I've heard so far from it are awesome - which reminds me - I never did post a gig report to go with my set list from the May 24th show in Austin, TX. Crikey fuck, I am so far behind on my internet posting for all things metal. Fucking job and family life have been taking up all my time lately.

Anyway, I think the new Primus album is going to pretty damned awesome. I called it first.

Can't wait, it's been mad long since their last album.

Nah I think you did post it. I remember you posted a set with mostly new songs...unless you saw them again after that.

Well yeah, I posted the set list, but no details about the show. Maybe I'll do that later. I really don't have that much to say, though (imagine that - somebody call Ripley's ). The show was killer, and I met some dudes from this awesome forum. End of gig report, basically.

Holy shit! A release date has finally been announced?! Can't even tell you guys how psyched I am for this album. I was only 6 years old when Antipop came out and I wasn't even aware of good music back then, lol. So, this will be the first Primus album that I will be following in real time. Hope Jay Lane rocks as much in the studio as much as he does live.

So in that article when they say a "fall tour" I wonder if they mean the U.S.? They've already did a ton of touring with Jay Lane since last year. Even if they come to Milwaukee or Chicago again in the fall I don't know if I would go to see them because I saw them last August in Milwaukee which was an extremely awesome gig. But, I want to save money for bands I haven't already seen live that are coming here.

Words cannot explain how pumped I am for this. When I seen them in August last year they were amazing and I can't wait to hear what they do next.

Yeah I listened to it about ten times already and I think it's one of their best albums. With "Jilly's On Smack" and "Last Salmon Man" being two of their best songs ever. Lots of different styles in this album but never too much or too little of something. Just solid Primus all around.
