Yeah, i'm not sure why the OP thought that they didn't have the material to do that. The amount of big hits they have alone makes up a decent enough set.

I agree with the OP that more bands, as long as the heave the material that is, should try to play longer sets like this. But you've also gota keep in mind that the Foo Fighters are very popular and probably have got a lot of pull on how long they can play for. With a lot of the smaller metal shows we go to, those bands don't always have the luxury of having that option. Especially when it seems every tour nowadays is stacked with 37 fuckin bands on it and after that's done the headliner has only got like 60-75 mins to play.

Yes my bad I forgot to put that on the setlist. Yes both of those were the regular version and not accoustic. The only songs that were accoustic were the first 3 after encore:

Long Road To Ruin
The best Of You
Times Like These

and for Times Like These he did the first half accoustic and ran back to stage and they did it non accoustic after that.

Great setlist! Only con is that they took out "Up In Arms" which they did at the Wasting Light warm up shows. But I guess that's more of a personal preference because that's one of my favorite Foo Fighters songs.

According to setlist.FM they did School's Out by Alice in Little Rock. Dave said towards the end of the night he just has ???? on the setlist so they play whatever they feel like playing. How determined that is in advance I don't know but should no doubt be new and interesting every show they play which probably couldn't be said for 95% of other bands. Even for them not being my favorite band I find myself liking them for the show they put on.

Kinda funny. After they did the Queen cover Dave said they'd be available after the show for weddings and bar mitvahs.
