I'd like to see this happen, but I'm not holding my breath. Schmier in particular I believe has been talking about trying to make this happen for a couple of years now. I'd buy my ticket in a second if it did, though.

As far as I know, I don't think Sodom has toured the U.S. ever. If they did, it had to be back in the 80s or 90s and I can't find anything about that. I know they were gonna play in California, New York and Maryland Deathfest last year but they didn't show.

They did a really short tour in January 2006, then came back in the summer to play NYC and LA.

I went to both, and they were both badass.

The Teutonic Thrash trio are FAR better than their American counterparts imho.

In the last ten years, the Teutonic Three have remained extremely consistent. Destruction especially when you consider their pretty frequent rate of output. Sodom have generally maintained a pretty high level of quality too, and hell M-16 is a masterpiece in my opinion. And Kreator's last three albums are easily just as good as their classics, maybe even better.

Even back in the 80s, from a musical standpoint, I don't think that anyone could argue against the fact that Pleasure to Kill was the most vile, dark and evil album ever released by then. On a sheer scale of heaviness, Reign in Blood, Peace Sells, and Master of Puppets don't even compare in speed, intensity and sheer ferocity. Just my !

I think Reign In Blood has a darker and more evil sound than Pleasure to Kill. Pleasure to Kill is better though.
