Megadeth's setlist did suck. And I'm a big MD fan. I disagree w/ Trust as an opener, and there was very few real fast/heavy songs. Wake Up Dead, Headcrusher, Peace Sells and Holy Wars are about it.

the absurd amount of $ theyre asking for good seats/good GA for the yankee stadium show has priced me out. Fuck Yankee Stadium, fuck the promoter, and fuck the bands for this show that now reeks of a cashgrab. Im not spending over $200 for a GA ticket that would allow me to actually be close and enjoy the show. total bullshit.

You're right. It is ridiculous.

But here's the way I look at it: I doubt Slayer will be around for more than another year or 2. Tom's back/neck surgery, gall bladder surgery, voice problems; Jeff's necrotizing fascitis; the fact that Kerry said after Christ Illusion that they would do one more album, then discuss the bands future. I'm willing to pay big $ to see Slayer, cause the chances to are numbered IMO.

Also, I'm sure you know how Metallica rarely tours North America. Didn't from 2004-late 2008. Europe get's 7 Big Four shows, then 1 get's announced in the US. And from the way it looks, I don't think Metallica will do a legit tour of NA until 2013. Yeah, it's a lot of $, but I'm one of the losers that will pay it. Plus I'm a big Megadeth fan, too.
