Even more so for Gojira supporting (and getting a longer set)

Wow 2 of my favorite bands of all time on the same set. Fear Factory and Metallica. I still haven't seen Fear Factory live. I want to so bad. I wish they were coming to Mayhem Fest this year.

Yeah, the only time I've seen Gojira was opening for Metallica back in 2009. They need to put out new material and get their ass back to the states.

I saw Strapping Young Lad directly support Fear Factory back in 2005, Byron did double bass duty!!! FF was pretty wicked even following Hevy Devy and co.

Fear Factory isn't all that great live. Burton's vocals don't sound powerful live and they don't have that haunting ominous presence during the clean parts. They do play good sets though, and seeing Gene Hoglan is pretty cool.

Ya, I've seen tons of live Fear Factory videos on youtube and Burton's clean voice never is that great live, but I think his screams are great. He is definitely one of my favorite metal singers of all time. Great singer and screamer.
