I never really had any hope of Khan returning, so this comes as no surprise, but it's still sad to see it become official. Never got to see them with Khan, but will definitely be seeing them with Fabio in August. The videos I've seen have sounded pretty damn good. While Khan's voice is a big part of the sound, I like Kamelot in full, not just the vocalist. So long as his replacement is not Tim Owens (who I like, but not for Kamelot), I'm open to just about anything.

Would love to see Roy go and reform Conception sometime soon, too.

I won't ignore them just because they change singer. I don't stop liking bands when they change members. I'll only stop caring about them if they pick a singer I don't like. Fabio Lione, for example.

They should have got Henning Basse like last time.

I definitely am glad I saw them in 2007. (Memento Mori live is AMAZING!) but yeah i am debating seeing them with Fabio, mainly to hear Nights of Arabia and A Sailorman's Hymn live.

I'm glad I got to see them with Roy, too. Three times, though I'm hesitant to make the third count because of the crappy sound at the venue.

But that reminds me that if they do manage to pick a great replacement, and Oliver contributes more to the writing, the next album could be potentially awesome. Sons of Seasons are pretty great...

Firewind did get Henning Basse for the US tour in 07 when Apollo couldn't make it over. Don't know if he's ever sang with Kamelot.

There's a singer who should leave, incidentally. Far better with Spiritual Beggars. Not that he'd make nearly as much money with them, but it's all about the music. Right?

Kamelot should get Magnus Ekwall. I'd care then!

Arena losing Rob Sowden last year is far more important though
