Things are starting to pick up already.

The guitarist, Nick and I already have 5 new songs that we are working on. This weekend we'll be doing a ton of promo pictures and photoshoots.

THis past saturday night, we were played on a Local Metal Radio show *Local as in the radio station is in the Twin Cities, not a show showcasing local bands* If you wanna check it out, you can stream it on WMP, Itunes, etc here:

*Click 'LISTEN NOW' next to the 2/13/11 show and follow the playlist accordingly*

Back on Wednesday was Tears Of Ash Wednesday (not planned that way, but still pretty cool), the day we officially released our debut album. Down below is the album trailer which features a lot of great pictures and some of the great moments featured on the CD.

We also had a great write up on us on Atlanta Metal here: http://www.atlmetal.com/blog/unsigne...-tears-of-ash/

After checking this out, if you're interested in a copy of the album. send an email to tearsofashrocks@gmail.com The album is $10 USD. I hope you guys dig what you hear:

Yes you do. And there are some actual good bands attached to it as well.

So did you get a chance to check out the songs man? From what I remember I don't think you had heard Sacred or These Dying Hopes.

1st impression of These Dying Hopes were how great the drumming was. It really stands out on that track. Great job man.

I still like The Broken the best of the ones I heard. I could really see myself jamming out to that song live. That song belongs in one of their compilations

Thanks man, that means a lot.

The Broken is my favorite song to play from the first album. It would be amazing if Roadrunner would like The Broken enough to put it on a compilation, it is indeed worthy in my eyes.

As of right now, we have 13 songs are all across the board from Blackened Death Metal riffs to a Blues based Ballad and everything in between.

In the next few weeks I will begin tracking the drums. And all I can say is that if you love the drums so far....you ain't seen nothing yet!

Hell yeah man. Can't wait to check the new stuff out. I turned my buddy who is a bassist onto the page and he really dug The Broken too.
