Haha, it's pretty much the same with me, but it's not a limit the parents set. I personally just try to keep it at that. I think the only months that are breaking that rule are April and May, with eight and seven gigs respectively.

Shows are all I really do now a days, so when I have money they go to shows. I would go to more, but lots of good shows are on school days(which unless it's a big show, my parents won't allow, i.e. Sepultra and Symphony X). It's not Florida gets much shows anyways...

I'd have to put a lot of effort in to go to 4-5 shows a month. That's 48-60 shows a year. Absolutely insane to even try.

I'll probably get to 30+ this year, but still, that's ridiculous.

Well, I said those are my limitations, doesn't mean I will be going to 4-5 shows every month. Like I said, Florida barely gets any good shows as it is.

That's still cool you guys hit so many shows at a young age. Unfortunately, in my case, my hometown doesn't get any "real" shows, and closest cities that get metal shows are Montreal + Burlington, VT (both around 1.5 hours). And I didn't have a car in high school, and you can't cross the border under 18 sans parent. Hence, I didn't hit many shows when I was a lad.

Fuck, why is it they can play all the best songs anywhere BUT Canada

I was fuckin begging them to play SWS but nooo they didn't. Don't mean to be bitter, just I hear the same sets every time and I wanted them to change it up, seems like they'll only pull out stuff like that at home or at special things like this.
