Let me explain. This summer will be the first time I'll ever be going festival-hopping - I've been saving money up for two years now, so that when I do have a trillion dollars, I'll be able to go to a fucking lot of them. I'm still not sure about Sonisphere, and I'm lucky to be able to go to Leeds because I'll be on a school trip then, and we have a day or two off.

skip any fests here and go to the crazy European summer ones, like Hellfest or Obscene Extreme or Hole In The Sky or something

I think I speak for most of us here, I've only been to shows in my area, and a couple road trip shows that were both coincidental to when I was in another area.

I was going to go to Hellfest, but then I realized I had no-one to go with. The parents don't like solo trips

Also - Hole in the Sky looks wicked sick, but I have the first week of school then.

And Obscene Extreme... well, the only bands on the lineup that I know are Entombed, Last Days of Humanity, Lock Up, and The Rotted.

Dude. There are so many bands on Hellfest that I'd love to see...if I knew I was going, I'd have a nervous breakdown just trying to decide who to see when.

Judas Priest, Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, The Exploited, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Atheist, Gorguts, Belphegor, Vader, Unleashed, Bolt Thrower, Triptykon, Hail of Bullets, Skeletonwitch, Grave, Clutch, Karma to Burn, Kyuss Lives!, Kylesa, Knut, The Cean, Red Fang, The Gates of Slumber...fuck me.

Tell you what...you pay for my plane ticket, hotel and admission to the fest, and I'll be your personal escort / bodyguard for the festival. Deal?

I'd love to, but I don't have THAT much cash.

By the way, hotel?! Are you afraid of camping
