I've been wanting to sneak up to Toronto for a weekend ever since my last weekend up there in '08, so I'm gonna keep this in mind.

Montreal Day 2 for me, 10 minutes by bus\subway from my home. if Slayer could move to saturday in Toronto I would glady do the 5.5 hour drive to go there instead, but on Sunday in Toronto what the fuck is all those other bands doing on a Slayer bill ?

Cheers !

Toronto is looking awesome I must say... Might try head up there if I get a job this Summer.. My sister is living in Canada now so I could pop up of rhte week, arrange to hit that festival while I'm over there..

Also, I like Billy Talent, though this is the wrong bill for them!

Kiss - Not a huge fan but at least I will see them once in my life

Motorhead - looking forward to see them outside, the sound will probably be less loud & distorded, my biggest complain of the 3 shows where I saw them in an arena (the 2003 GMETID Maiden tour) the sound was awefull the 3 times

Opeth - This will be my first Opeth show and I'm fucking exited about it !

Anthrax - Fuck Yeah !!!

Children Of Dodom - Fuck Yeah Motherfucker !!

As I Lay Dying - saw them once on the LOG\COB tour a few years back and were pretty good

Cheers !

Eh, that's expected.

My qualm is why Opeth has a higher slot than Motörhead. I would assume Motörhead has the more significant name and fanbase on the bill, but I could be wrong. Motörhead playing directly before Opeth is also a major hazard to all the Kenny G look-alikes that are sure to get murdered during Motörhead's set...

All in all, not bad of a lineup. If this was Mayhem Fest, I would have nothing at all against the tour. Might even be worth driving up to see if none of the other bands are touring...

I was very disappointed to see Toronto is getting Slayer AND Megadeth and Montreal is not. I know they played Heavy MTL last year, but I can still wish.

Not thrilled w/ the Heavy MTL Day 2 lineup. I like KISS, but that's really the only band on Day 2 that interests me. And Toronto is too far too drive for a 60 minute Slayer set.

BUT, maybe this could mean a small Slayer tour...........???!!
