My friend tried to go to this show at the NC date. He was about 10 people away from reaching the door and it sold out.

Needless to say, he was pissed.

Not sure if someone has already said this, but I don't understand why people don't order their tix online or over the phone before the show. Use your brain people. I'd be livid if I got to a show expecting to get in and it was sold out.

I asked him the same thing. I never buy tickets at the door, even if its a show that probably won't sell out.

Yes, you should have seen it for the Acacia Strain. They put on a brutal performance. As I said in the review, there were amazing crowd reactions for all 3 main bands, although I would say I witnessed the most violence during Acacia, with at least 3 legitimate fights breaking out.

Now that we know Whitechapel is gonna headline Summer Slaughter... How do you guys feel about that? I feel like nobody is gonna be into them for that tour, and the people who are will be a bunch of scene kids. Believe me or not, but scene kids were few and far between at this show.

The thing with Whitechapel is that when it comes to deathcore, they're rooted very much in the "death" rather than the "core", opposed to say Acacia. I think you're right in your assumption.
