For some no-name band, yes. I would think the band w/ the second highest death metal record sales of all-time in the US would sell more. Also, considering Deicide's last album, 'Till Death Do Us Part' sold 2,900 the 1st week, and that album wasn't great, I still see this as a huge disappointment.

Cannibal Corpse's 'Evisceration Plague' sold 7,500 in it's 1st week.

I realize the economy sucks and lot's of people don't wanna spend $ on music when they can download it for free, so it's understandable, but still disappointing.

Till Death Do Us Part got a lot of lukewarm reviews, so I could see people being wary to purchase the new album so quickly.

So I've always known that Glen Benton hates all aspects of Christanity and all, but wow, I had no idea...

Listening to To Hell with God today, I noticed a pattern of sorts...

God 10/10 (all 10 songs have at least one mention of "God")

Although the lyrics are sub-par, I actually am enjoying this album quite a bit, and I've never been much of a Deicide fan.

That's Glen for ya I don't think anyone has ever considered him a quality lyricist. Hell, I like Deicide, but he has pissed away any credibility he ever had, as he's admitted he's not really Satanic, he is just against religion as a whole.

I like it enough, it could've been shorter. I like Deicides albums in the 25-30 minute range.
