Eluveitie -- Worcester, MA -- February 3rd, 2011
System Divide opened the night. Never heard of them before this show, so unfortunately I can't say what they played.
Next Holy Grail took the stage, as far as order it's a little shaky, and I know I am missing 1 or 2 songs. I was too into Eluveitie to remember after. Hopefully someone else might know. Immortal Man Call of Valhalla Crisis In Utopia My Last Attack Fight to Kill 3 Inches of Blood did not make the show, and apparently missed the last couple stops because of transportation trouble. For Eluveitie, I got the actual setlist from the stage, and it was accurate aside from a couple songs at the end. They were having trouble with the sound from Meri's Violin and ended up not playing the last two songs. Otherworld Nil Bloodstained Ground Gray Sublime Archon Your Gaulish War Thousandfold Inis Mona Slania's Song Britcom Omnos Isara Quoth the Raven Song of Life Kingdom Come Undone (Do)minion Andro ---- Primordial Breath Uis Elveti Tegernako |

Thanks for the sets! Hopefully 3ioB can make the rest of the tour... Their hometown crowd awaits. Haven't really got into System Divide yet but I love the other bands. Can't wait to see Holy Grail again!

I love Holy Grail, and this was my first time finally seeing them live. Damn do they know how to put on a metal show. Definitely a band I will need to catch every time they are in the area.

I know it'll be skewed by the time 3ioB gets added back, but do you have set lengths/times by any chance? Doors, bands, setups, etc.

Yeah, the sound on Meri's violin gave out halfway through their second-to-last song -- I was second row-far left and saw her walk over and flag down a staff member with a flashlight. He seemed rather indifferent about the situation, and she did not look happy. Also, I was wondering about the lack of Spirit songs, but them being cut out makes sense.
Other than that, and Chrigel's mic not working during two songs (as one audience member said, "Hooray, we got the special karaoke version of Thousandfold!"), they were superb and the sound was unusually good for the venue. I liked System Divide, though they really didn't seem to win too many people over -- props to them for having a sense of humor about the situation. I would've bought something from them, buuut somebody made off with my Eluveitie flag and I had to buy another one. :P @Careenifier: Doors were at 7; show was supposed to start at 7:30, but it was pushed back to 8 probably to account for 3IOB not showing up. |

@OP: Love your screen name. It's not the most metal one I've seen, but it's funny.

Set isn't too bad! I was afraid they were going to be too heavy on their new material

I wasn't gonna catch this tour since I've already seen them twice but they are finally playing the Song of Life, which is my favorite song. If they keep that in the set every night and I'm in Atlanta, I'll go.
