1. Not a single technical nomination for Scott Pilgrim? Really? That was one of the best looking movies in years.
2. I'll be pissed if Restrepo doesn't win Best Documentary. I have a feeling that Exit will get it, though.

I slightly preferred Exit Through the Gift Shop, but then, I don't work for the United States Army, either.

Of the major categories (pictures, acting, directing, for our purposes) the only films with nominations I didn't see were Rabbit Hole, Biutiful, 127 Hours, The Fighter, The Town and Animal Kingdom, so I'm gonna try to see all those before the ceremony. The only race I'm emotionally invested in is Portman for Best Actress, the rest are gonna be pretty fun and competitive I think.

You also thought "The Hurt Locker" was the best movie of last year, if I'm not mistaken. The only best film noms I didn't see are Winter's Bone, The King's Speech and The Kids Are All Right.

Not sure if I'll like any of them but I'll try to give them a watch.

I didn't take it personally, but I disagree.

I wish The King's Speech was playing here. I really want to see it.

Well, I definitely like Black Swan as much as I did at least partly because of Natalie Portman, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I liked King's Speech and Inception win in whatever categories they're in, because those are the only two films I saw

I probably won't watch this year. I watched last year and couldn't handle the self-congratulatory atmosphere. Too much pomp.

Not a single Actor related role for Inception? No way man, that cast SLAYED in the movie.
