1) Machine Head - The Blackening
2) Mastodon - Leviathan
3) Gojira - From Mars to Sirius
4) Hed Pe - Broke
5) Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
6) Meshuggah - Obzen
7) Tool - Lateralus
8) Slayer - World Painted Blood
9) BFMV - Scream Aim Fire w/Ashes of the Innocent
10) System of a Down - Toxicity

Honorable mentions: Burst - Lazarus Bird, Sevendust - Animosity, Slipknot - Iowa & several incredible albums from these same bands.
I was wondering if my list has changed at all and low and behold it has. High on Fire - Blessed Black Wings and Burst - Lazarus Bird would be my new 11 & 12 but neither has received enough listens to crack my Top 10. BTBAM - Colors would clock in at lucky #13. My new & Improved Top 10:

1) Machine Head - The Blackening
2) Mastodon - Leviathan
3) Gojira - From Mars to Sirius
4) Tool - Lateralus
5) Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
6) Meshuggah - Obzen
7) Cobalt - Gin
8) Hed PE - Broke
9) System of a Down - Toxicity
10) Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way to Blue

Good moves getting WPB and Scream Aim Fire off that list.

Agreed, but High on Fire and Burst both need to be on it, so the list is still fail (as the kids say these days).
