You know what I will edit my list and put Blind Guardian in it. Come back in an hour and a half to see a review.

For the record, every album Gene Hoglan has ever been on has better drumming than the new Fear Factory, not that it's bad though. Gene's other stuff is just more complicated and interesting. I hope he finds another band to tour and/or record with sometime soon.

Definitely. And I'm sure he will, seeing as he's been in a million bands.

I think Gene's best drumming performances were in Strapping Young Lad. He was also great in Death and Dark Angel.

If I had to pick my favorites (That I've heard...I've never really heard much of Dark Angel) with Gene I would say that his best drumming is showcased on [i]Alien[i] by SYL, Terria by Devin Townsend, and Symbolic and Individual Thought Patterns, I can't make up my mind which Death album is better drum wise, they're both incredible, though. Also if you've never heard of them his band Mechanism is showcased on his drumming DVD, and that's some interesting stuff there. Not completely something I'd get too into but the drumming is incredible.

If it's for the number 10 slot or swapping two albums around, I could see this happening easily. My opinion of an albums placement on my list changes almost every time I listen to it.

Also, this list is surprisingly (lol) good, and I think you're one of the only people on the site that will have Maiden as high as I will (2 or 3 slot), though it seems like it'll at least make nearly everyone's list.
