I'm not quite aware what the population of SF is...
Metal of any genre is nowhere near as popular here in the USA than it is in Europe.

So I gather SF was one of the most visited shows. How many people were in Tulsa (and elsewhere)?

Say what you want about America - 13 bucks can still get you a hell of a lot of mice!

Sadly for Tulsa I would say 60-80. I'm not that good at guessing but that's an approximation. Venue only holds maybe like 200 to begin w/ though.

Wow......

I wonder what the bands are making, how are they profiting from a tour so scarcely attended...

1349 = Goatwhore with facepaint. Frost is the only reason to stay awake during their sets.

^ I'm not too impressed with "oldschool" BM either.
It may sound good on tape, but Watain was total crap live.
I haven't yet seen 1349 live, but from what I see on youtube, not too impressed either.

Frost is OUTSTANDING.

Does this video impress you at all? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmP6AseQrVw

Sure, Frost is the focal point of the vid, but the entire band is killing it here too if you ask me.

There's none of the vocal precision and subtlety that is evident in the record.

In comparison, Tom Warrior is even more expressive live.
