Rock and Shock -- Worcester, MA -- October 16th, 2010

The bands I saw were Murderdolls, Alice Cooper, Nevermore, and GWAR.

I only saw Murderdolls because I was waiting for Alice Cooper, so I have no idea what they played other than "Slit My Wrists" and a cover of The Misfits' "Hybrid Moments".

Alice Cooper
School's Out
No More Mr. Nice Guy
Wicked Young Man
Ballad of Dwight Fry
Go to Hell
Cold Ethyl
Poison
From the Inside
Nurse Rozetta
Be My Lover
Only Women Bleed
I'll Never Cry
Vengeance Is Mine
Dirty Diamonds
Billion Dollar Babies
Killer
Feed My Frankenstein
Under My Wheels

I'm Eighteen
School's Out (chorus reprise)

Nevermore
The Termination Proclamation
I, Voyager
Poison Throne
Beyond Within
Emptiness Unobstructed
Born (The Retribution of Spiritual Sickness
The River Dragon Has Come
Inside Four Walls

Enemies of Reality
The Obsidian Conspiracy

GWAR
Horror of Yig
Damnation Under God
Hail, Genocide
Let Us Slay
Vlad the Impaler
Decay of Grandeur

I know the Nevermore setlist says "Moonrise" was played and not "Poison Throne", but I know they played the latter and I do not think they played the former though I may not remember it (unlikely).

I am so pleased GWAR opted to not do any BH material, ease off LIS and include a badass song off Hell-O in their solidified set. This rules.

I thought GWAR's set list was rather mediocre. Decay of Grandeur is the most boring song on War Party, there are NO songs from Violence has Arrived, the new songs are probably good but in the context of a GWAR show it's difficult to focus for me so I wish they had just played songs I knew, and I think Lust in Space is a pretty lame album (though the songs they played from the album are probably the best on the album).

The stage show seemed a little lacking compared to the other times I've seen them (this was my eighth time), but it was still really good. I'm one of those grumpy types that wants to hear my absolute favorite songs every time I see them, so I guess I'm a little hard to please.

Nevermore's show was unusual (and great). Any time a girl would crowdsurf, Dane would grab them and get them on stage to dance or headbang or whatever they wanted to do. There were five or six of them on stage at one point, with two of them on stage frequently. During Enemies of Reality, it was a complete free-for-all and absolutely anyone that crowd surfed was brought on stage. There were about 15 fans on stage banging their heads and singing at one point. Warrel was probably drunk off of his ass or pissed at Palladium management (or both). He also had weird silver fangs and looked like he just got done working on a ranch. Here's a ton of pictures for evidence:

And here are the pictures the guy took for the whole day (it's just one dude, so not every band got a ton of pictures):

There are links for the show on the 15th as well.

Nevermore did not play Emptiness Unobstructed, but they did play Taste Revenge.
