Nevermore -- New York, NY -- October 19th, 2010
The show was absolutely fantastic. Dane kept pulling people up on stage to go crazy with the band. After Emptiness Unobstructed, he had a little emotional break, saying that "that song gets to me, sometimes."
Termination Proclamation Narcosynthesis I Voyager Moonrise Beyond Within Emptiness Unbstructed Born River Dragon This Godless Endeavor Heart Collector Taste Revenge (sanctuary cover) Inside Four Walls Obsidian Conspiracy Enemies of Reality I don't think they played Poison Throne or Ophidian like the other sets, but great show, nonetheless. That's pretty neat - you don't really hear Vince Neil say something like often do you

![]() Anyways, I heard that Emptiness Unobstructed is about a friend of Warrel's that comitted suicide. So it's totally understandable that the song would get to him.

The show was absolutely mindblowing. It really mad me realize how legendary of a band Nevermore really are. Oh and Poison Throne was definately in the set. I Voyager, River Dragon, and Godless Endeavor were the highlights for me. My only complaint about the set was Born seemed a little off. Warrel was having some mic problems and was off time at one point. Otherwise it was an excellent show.
Warbringer set was: Jackal Total War Shoot to Kill Prey for Death Severed Reality AT THE CRACK OF DOOM ![]() Living in a Whirlwind Combat Shock Might be a little bit out of order, but those are all the songs they did.

Actually i think they did play "Poison Throne". I remember Warrel leading us in the "RISE! RISE!" chant part of the lyrics.

Oh I was just using him as an example of frontmen who probably don't get as emotionally attached to the lyrics that they're singing about like Dane obviously does.

I was at this show and it was really a great time. My first time seeing Nevermore headline was truly a memorable one. Warrel was just hilarious too saying things like "This next one is our sell out song but we aren't Metallica so it doesn't suck" and when the audience started waving their hands back and forth he made a comment along the lines of "Stop trying, you aren't Europeans"
pretty funny stuff. Also very cool of him to bring so many fans of stage and rock out. The highlight of that was the girl in red who was just beside herself and so happy to be up there jamming with them. Can't wait to see these guys in NYC again next year when they come back with Symphony X.
