Tell me this isn't thrash.

On topic of the thread, that is easily one of the heaviest thrash songs ever recorded.
Yay, you picked the one thrash song on the album!

The album does have thrash moments but I mean they're not a regular occurence or anything.

Well, the only Slayer record that is out and out thrash from start to finish is Reign In Blood. After that every other Slayer album features changes in pace, from groove elements to more doomy aspects. GHUA is a heavy, aggressive record, I don't care what anyone says. Its not nu metal (those who say that are aware they're comparing Slayer to stuff like Limp fucking Bizkit yes?) its not hardcore, its Slayer.

Thrash can't have changes in pace? Still, reign and Hell awaits are their only consistent thrash assaults.

Also, I meant GHUA is nu-metal styled. It's not korn or anything.

Oh of course it can. And define consistent? They feature thrash-beats through-out, yes, but neither of them are considered Slayers best work, according to MOST of Slayers fans.

And define how its 'nu-metal styled', because it doesn't sound like any of the bands of that movement at all.
