I just think that I totally get how someone could like all other post-rock and not GY!BE, just because that someone was me for quite a while (if for no other reason).
I consider the fact that it's not all out there for you to see is what makes it more appealing to me. I've been listening to these guys for quite some time now (relative to my age, mind you
), and I'm still hearing stuff I haven't heard in there before. I think the Dead Flag Blues is one of my favorite album openers in post-rock. It's really a blast.
