Queensryche -- Atlantic City, NJ -- August 19th, 2010
Hit the Black
Desert Dance I Am I Sacred Ground Promised Land Disconnected Lady Jane Another Rainy Night (Without You) The Art of Life The Thin Line Jet City Woman The Lady Wore Black Tribe Liquid Sky Roads to Madness Until There Was You The Right Side Of My Mind Encore: Empire SOURCE I know they did the living hell out of Mindcrime, but to completely leave it off the setlist is a HUGE mistake, IMO. In fact, there's NOTHING pre-Empire on there! WTF?!?!

Roads to Madness was long before Empire.
Horrible set list, by the way.

Roads to Madness and The Lady Wore Black are, indeed, pre-Empire, and I'll take the minority and say I actually like this setlist. They didn't divide it up correctly among eras, but for the era they dealt with, they picked a pretty good set.

epic fail Fonzy...howeveri do agree that there should be some representation of Mindcrime on there. i wonder how much of Roads they did since theyve just done the first half of it recently.

They played all of Roads to Madness, kinda. After the first half where they usually stop now-a-days they continued into the second half but Geoff only did some speaking parts before leaving the stage and having the rest done instrumentally with Whip playing a nice solo.
And as far as the setlist goes, they have played the hell out of Mindcrime for a few years and last tour they did play basically all of Rage For Order. While I agree that it would have been nice to mix the set up a bit more as far a earlier material goes, it was still awesome to hear Promised Land -> Disconnected -> Lady Jane. Very underrated album and these songs made this set worthwhile for me atleast. |

I doubt this band will ever see any more money from me for either albums, merchandise, or tickets. I'm just so over them. I will ALWAYS have an immense respect and love for the EP and first 3 records, but for a band was almost definitely my second-favorite band 5 years ago... damn how the mighty have fallen.

Though they were never my second favorite band, from 1990-1996 they were high on the list with me. Now they're near nowhere near that unfortunately. I know they've played the shit out of Mindcrime and most of RFO last summer but I don't think it's too much to ask for just one song off each. No band has ever been as great as them and fallen as far down, except for maybe Metallica with Load/Reload and St. Anger. But even the Loads had some good, passable songs on them. I can't say the same for Queensryche since the release of Q2K.
